Cléo Burke, MEd, Counselling, RCT-C, CCC
Cléo’s practice is founded in the belief that finding one’s way towards greater well-being and vitality is a developmental process unique to each person. Life is tough sometimes, and figuring it out alone is not always possible. Support can help us uncover new perspectives, challenge limiting beliefs, and develop new coping skills.
Cléo assists clients with a wide range of issues including stress, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, life transitions, and trauma. She often uses embodiment or somatic practices, and draws from modalities including Transactional Analysis, Integral Psychotherapy, Narrative Therapy, Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy, Trauma-Sensitive Yoga, Logosynthesis, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. Cléo loves the diversity of her work, and the opportunity to witness clients feel more present and empowered in their lives.
Cléo is a Registered Counselling Therapist (RCT-C) in good standing with the Nova Scotia College of Counselling Therapists, and a Certified Counsellor (CCC) with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association. As someone who loves to learn and wants to best serve her clients, she regularly participates in professional development and ongoing supervision.
When not at work, Cléo loves to spend time with friends and family, to move and play,
